Welcome to the Park Falls Area Calendar of Events. The Park Falls area and all of Price County have a variety of fun and exciting events throughout the calendar year.

MARCH
March 1 - 31 Countryside Artist - ARTIST DISPLAY
Mon.-Fri. 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Sat. 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The Countryside Artists, a group of 20 artists, will have their art work on display the entire month of March 2008 in the historic Park Falls Library. In conjunction with the display, several artists will teach classes or have demonstrations on Saturday, March 8, 15, & 29. Website: www.artistsinteractive.org or call: 715-339-3645
March 22 "Easter Basket Egg-Stravaganza
Children 10 & under search participating businesses to match their pre-registered number to an Easter Basket packed full of goodies.
APRIL
April 12 Bowl For Kids Sake - Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Northwoods
Location: Flambeau Lanes - Hwy 13 - Park Falls
1 p.m. & 3 p.m. shifts. Reserve your bowling shift by calling BBBS at 715-744-3927 or 866-839-2843. Gather your friends to form a team of 4 to 6 bowlers.  Each bowler must collect a minimum of $35 in pledges. Bowlers receive two free games of bowling with shoe rental, a free T-shirt, and a chance to win great prizes. Bowlers must check-in for lane assignments at least 1/2 hour before the start of each shift. The person who brings in the most pledge money will win a certificate for a 1-night stay at The Lodge at Cedar Creek with 4 waterpark passes. Many great raffle prizes!

April 25 - 27 Spring Expo 2008 - 9th Annual
This is Price County's largest Home, Sport, & Recreation Show. This event is held at the Park Falls Recreation Arena. FREE admission to the public. There will be daily entertainment & activities for all ages. Sign up for a chance to win door prizes.Click here for Spring Expo application

Events are planned throughout the country to emphasize the importance of trails and the need to maintain them. This year's theme is "Healthy Trails, Healthy People." Saturday, June 7 - Opening ceremony, 9 am. at Tuscobia Trailhead County Park, Park Falls; Mud Run, noon at Wojcieszak’s Flambeau Resort, home of the famous Labor Day Weekend Mud Run. Registration from 9-11:30 a.m. Racing to begin at noon. $15 entry - 2 runs for trophies; $20 entry - 2 runs for cash.
Sunday, June 8 – Off-Road Challenge, noon at Moose Jaw Resort, 762-3028. Registration from 9-11:30 a.m. Racing to begin at noon. $15 entry - 2 runs for trophies; $20 entry - 2 runs for cash. An ATV raffle is also being held.

June 19 - 21 3rd ANNUAL LONGEST GARAGE SALE In Wisconsin
Hwy. 13, Ogema to Park Falls

Sales and activities are being held all three days along Hwy. 13 and in area communities. Sponsored by the Ogema Lions Club. Area Lions Clubs are sponsoring food booths along Hwy. 13. This event encompasses all of Highway 13 from Wisconsin Dells in the south to Port Wing in the north. 715-767-5445

Sunday, June 29 - Pledge Ride, Raffle & Dance. Collect pledges from friends and relatives and ride for the kids at the Shriners Hospitals. Register at Hegstrom's Jewelers or Sportsman's Lounge. Trophies will be presented for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place based on pledges, will be given out at 7pm. A dance is being held at Sportsman's Lounge from 4-8pm. July 27 - July 29 49th Annual BUTTERNUT PIONEER DAYS
Butternut Community Park
Friday - softball tournament followed by a dance in the park; Saturday - softball, arts & crafts, fun walk, 5k run at the Butternut School (registration from 7:30-8:45 am) race begins at 9 am, dance in the park Sat night;
Sunday - gigantic parade starts at 12 p.m.at the high school (parade lineup at 11 a.m.), softball tournament resumes, polka dance, fireworks at dusk, 3-day carnival, food & refreshments

Free movie at Park Theatre. Show times are 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.Treats will be given out to the children after both movies.
November 28 - 29 Santa’s Village
Children can visit Santa and Mrs. Claus at Santa's Village located inside the Park Mall in downtown Park Falls from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Professional photographer will be available for pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
