Biking and Hiking in Park Falls offers an excellent chance to get out there and really “commune with nature.” Many miles of trails are closed to motorized use and offer an excellent chance to enjoy the peaceful serenity of our northwoods. Numerous trails offer a short hike or bike and a chance to enjoy a more lengthy backpacking trip from all day to several days with camping along the trails.

Accessing Private Forest Land
Public access to more than 64,000 acres of private land in Price County that is supposed to be available for hiking, fishing, hunting, and other recreational purposes has become easier. The Department of Natural Resources has launched a web-based mapping tool that is intended to help people find parcels that should be open to the public because of tax breaks provided to the owners.
